Butati Dham is near Kuchera village on the Ajmer-Nagaur road, 50 kilometers away from Nagaur district of Rajasthan.

Sant Chaturdas Ji Maharaj was born in this village about 600 years ago. Born in the Charan clan, he was a great Siddha Yogi. He used to cure paralysis patients with his attainments.

Even today, people here take seven rounds of the saint’s tomb to get free from paralysis. On the day of Ekadashi and Dwadashi, crowd of paralysis patients and other devotees throng Butati Dham. 

It is believed that by doing aarti-parikrama for seven days in this temple, a patient suffering from paralysis gets cured.

The fame of this center of public faith is not only in the country but also abroad. People claim that by doing parikrama the effects of paralysis go away. Along with this, some people even get benefit up to 85 percent.

Butati Dham temple is located in Degana tehsil on Nagaur-Ajmer highway, 50 km from Nagaur district headquarters. The nearest railway station to Dham is Ren, which is approximately 28 kms away. 

How to reach the temple ?

We can reach the temple through trains which drop us at Ren Railway Station and from there we get many vehicles to go to the temple. And we can also reach Butati Dham by many buses.

Rules for paralyzed patients in the temple premises

If old people do not leave on time, new people will face problems in getting a place. The temple management tries to ensure that the pilgrims coming here and their remains do not face any kind of problem. Therefore, after seven days the old people are asked to leave and the place has to be vacated within 7 days of the date.
Patients and family members are also given free ration material.

About this Temple

A story is prevalent about the Butati Dham temple that about 600 years ago there was a saint named Chaturdas ji. He had more than 500 bighas of reserve land which he donated and went to do the penance of Arogya. After attaining Siddhi he came back here and took Samadhi. This temple is built at that place itself.
